Yes, you can upload all the photos and videos from your mobile device to your computer via ZipDrive in just one go.
To upload,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer where you want to upload the media files.
- Tap 'Upload' and select 'Upload All Photos / Videos' from the list.
- In the confirmation popup that appears, tap 'Yes'.
- Navigate to the location on your computer where you wish to upload the media files, and tap 'Upload'.
You can view the upload progress in the 'Downloads / Uploads' section.
What are the device specifications for installing the ZipDrive app on my mobile?
ZipDrive is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices. Install the app on iOS device (version 13 or higher), and on Android device (version 5 or higher).
How do I access the files on my computer?
To access the files located on your computer,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- The Dashboard appears. All the recently accessed files will appear on the Dashboard, under the 'Recently Accessed' section.
- Go to 'My Files' to view all the local drives located on your computer. Navigate and access all the files on your computer.
Note: To view a particular document, just tap on it.
- Android : If the file format is not supported on your mobile device, you need to download the file.
- iOS : Only supported file formats permitted.
Can I prevent access to my computers?
Yes, you can prevent access to any computer by using the disable feature from your mobile device.
To disable access,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the Computer List screen, tap
against a computer name.
- Tap 'Disable'. In the confirmation popup that appears, tap 'Disable'.
To enable again, tap -> 'Enable'.
How do I remove a computer from my account?
To remove a computer from your account,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the Computer List screen, tap
against a computer name.
- Tap 'Remove'. In the confirmation popup that appears, tap 'Remove'.
To rename a computer,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the Computer List screen, tap
against a computer name.
- Tap 'Rename' and in the popup that appears, enter a new name for the computer.
- Tap 'Save'.
With Passcode Lock, you can set a password for accessing the ZipDrive application on your mobile device.
To set a passcode,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- Tap

- In the account information page that appears, tap 'Passcode Lock'.
- Create a 4 digit passcode and confirm the same to save it.
Every time you access the ZipDrive application on your mobile device, you need to enter this passcode for additional security.
What file / folder operations can I perform?
Apart from viewing the files, you can perform various file / folder operations, like:
- Move / Copy - Move or copy the files to a different folder or location on your computer
- Download - Download the files from your computer to your mobile device
- Add to favorites - Mark the files that you browse often as 'favorites'
- Delete - Delete a file or folder on your computer
- Create new folder - Create a new folder on your computer
- Upload photos / videos - Upload media files from your mobile device to your computer
- Share - Share files / folders with anyone via a share link
- Rename - Rename any file or folder on your computer
How do I move a file / folder?
To move a file / folder ,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Go to 'My Files', navigate to the location and select the files / folders which you wish to move.

How do I download files / folders?
To download files / folders,

Can I delete files / folders from my computer?
Yes, you can delete files / folders from any computer which is added to your ZipDrive account.
To delete files / folders,

- Go to 'My Files', navigate to the location and select the files / folders which you wish to delete.

How do I create a new folder on my computer?
To create a new folder on your computer,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Go to 'My Files' and navigate to the location on your computer where you wish to create a new folder. Tap

- Enter a name for the new folder, and tap 'Create'
How can I select and upload photos and videos from my mobile device to my computer?
To select and upload photos and videos from your mobile device to your computer via ZipDrive,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Tap 'Upload' and select 'Upload Select Photos / Videos' from the list.
- The media gallery of your mobile device appears. Select the files you wish to upload, and tap 'Next'.
- Navigate to the location on your computer where you wish to upload the media files.
- Tap 'Upload'.
You can view the upload progress in the 'Downloads / Uploads' section.
How can I share files / folders from my account?
To share files / folders,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Go to 'My Files', navigate to the location and select the files / folders which you wish to share.

The 'Share' screen appears with a share link. Enter the email addresses and set a password (optional).
Note: If you set a password, the same will be shared with the recipients via email.

Set the share permissions:
- 'Can edit' - The recipient will be able to edit the shared files online.
- 'Can view' - The recipient will be able to view the shared files online.
- Link will expire in - The share link expiration can be set to 'Never', 1/7/30 days.
- Tap 'Done'.
Can I view all the files shared from my account?
Yes, you can view all the files / folders shared from your computer via ZipDrive.
To view,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.

Yes, you can unshare the files / folders after you have already shared the same with your associates.

Stream the entire media collection located on your computers, from wherever you are.
To play an audio / video file,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Tap
-> 'Music' / 'Videos'. Alternatively, tap the respective folder on the Dashboard.
- A list of all the respective music / video files located on your computer will appear. Tap the audio or video file to play the same.
Where can I view all the zipped files located on my computer?
All the zipped files located on your computer can be viewed from your ZipDrive account in the 'Archives' section.
To access,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Tap
-> 'Archives'. Alternatively, tap the respective folder on the Dashboard.
- A list of all the zipped files located on your computer will appear. Tap a file, and tap 'Download' to download the same on your mobile device.
Can I search my computer for a particular file / folder?
Yes, you can search through all the files and folders present on your computer, from your mobile device.
To search within the computer,
- Launch the ZipDrive application and sign in.
- In the 'Computer List' section, tap the online computer that you want to access.
- Enter the keyword / name in the search field on the Dashboard and tap search to view all the matches to the search criteria within the computer you are accessing.
Trusted devices provide an additional level of security for your ZipDrive account. Each time you sign in to your account from a new device, you are required to authorize it as a Trusted Device. You can thus prevent any unauthorized access to your account.
How can I authorize my device as a Trusted Device?
Once you sign in to your ZipDrive account via a new device for the first time, you will be prompted with a message.
On confirmation, a device authorization email will be sent to your registered email address. Click the 'Add to trusted devices' button in this email to sign in to your web account and add the device to the Trusted Devices list. A confirmation message will appear, informing the same.
Once done, you can sign in to ZipDrive with your mobile device.
